Northwest Trek makes a great day trip

Canadian Geese at Northwest Trek

Lucky Duck has a great view from the tram at Northwest Trek.

Father’s Day 2012 was a blast at Northwest Trek! We got on the noon tram (they run every hour), and set off for 55 minutes of “I spy cool Pacific Northwest animals” fun!

Ride along with me in the tram!

Not sure why I wore a wedge and an anchor in the woods

It seemed like a good idea when I was getting dressed this morning, but as I passed the black bear, I knew I missed the boat on this one. *Pun Intended*

I may have been in a wedge, but I sure could hustle

As we were walking down the path, I heard the loudest roar from a grizzly bear! So, I raced back to the grizzly’s hideout to see if I could spot him. We saw two fighting/playing/something with one another. You can see it too in this video!

Lots of animals to see

Happy Father’s Day, Dad!

As we all know, I love my dad very much, and it was awesome to be able to spend the day together.
